Leading contender and will take catching. PARAKEET (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fifth. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. BUILDER JAK (10) again failed to feature last start, finishing sixth and beaten 14 lengths over 1m at this track (Turf). Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. ALBERT SON (5) was safely held when seventh on debut last start over 7½f at this track (Turf). Tackles a longer journey this time. Will take a lot from that hitout and should do much better.
