BECAUSE THE NIGHT (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 4 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at this track four weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. OLD FLAG (3) was never in contention when 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. LIVE HIGH LIVE LOW (6) broke through for his maiden win over 7½f at this track (Turf) last time, scoring comfortably. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he cannot be underestimated. ICE THE KICKER (8) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track (Synthetic) two starts back then scored by 0.3 lengths as public elect last time out over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic). Looks well placed so expect another big run.
