ULTRA QUICK (5) was a gutsy winner two runs back then ran fifth over 7f at this track on July 15. Form at this distance is strong with three wins from four starts and is sure to go well. HOODIA (6) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago as 9/4 favourite. Steps up in journey. Has a decent record at this trip with five minor placings from seven tries and should prove tough to beat. THE WOLF (1) resumes from a lay-off of 11 weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Kumaran Naidoo. Finished 12th at Scottsville over 1m at the opening run last time in work. Worth plenty of thought on an each-way basis. LUCKY DOLLAR (2) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 1m at Scottsville. Can give this a shake.
