CHASING GOLD (3) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 1. 1 lengths last time out over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can make it two in succession. MISSISSIPPI SPICE (8) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1m at Greyville, beaten 1. 1 lengths. That followed a win at Scottsville the start prior. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. CLOUDS CLEARING (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten a head into second over 1m at Turffontein Inside. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. One of the main contenders. RED CORAL (5) was in the money two starts back at Durbanville but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 9 lengths, at Kenilworth over 1m1f. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
