Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. TRUST (10) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Closed last prep with a second, beaten a nose, over 1m1f at Turffontein Standside. Is rarely far away and has amassed two wins from his appearances. Ready to run well. AHEAD OF THE FACTS (3) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance three-and-a-half months ago over 1m6f in the G3 J&B Reserve Stayers at Kenilworth. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. THE ULTIMATE KING (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1m2f at Turffontein Standside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. No surprise to see him in the mix.
