Race Tip

BANK STREET (3) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 2.25 lengths at this track. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Expected to measure up. UNICORN ALERT (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 19 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. MVELELO (5) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 18 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m at Scottsville, beaten 4 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. VIVA SPIRIT (1) tackling the synthetic for the first time. On his return from a brief layoff. Kicked off the last campaign with a tenth at Greyville over 6f. Can launch the campaign with a bold run.
