PREEMPTIVE STRIKE (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.2 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at this track. Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. PROFESSOR LUPIN (4) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Greyville two starts back then landed the prize by 1.4 lengths last time out over 5f at Scottsville. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. HIPPOCRATES (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.3 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done again. KALAHARI ROLLER (6) finished second last start over 5f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should be peaking. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
