SHOEFELLA (3) returns after a lay-off of 11 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1m at Scottsville. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with three minor placings from four tries. Should be hard to stop. ZOOMBOMBER (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Vaal, finishing fourth and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1/2f. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. BALLY MAGIC (11) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on July 14 over 7f when he got home by 0.9 lengths. Winning rider Serino Moodley retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. GALAXY EXPLORER (2) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on June 5 when ninth, beaten 9 lengths. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Can feature in the finish.
