ROSH KEDESH (7) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 7f at Greyville All Weather 10 days ago. Nice run last time and should be in the finish. APACHE SON (4) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Vaal over 7¼f, beaten half a length. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and two minor placings from five starts. Should prove tough to beat. STRATHCLYDE (13) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished eighth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Scottsville then improved and scored over 7f at Scottsville four weeks ago, getting home by 0.9 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. BLOOMINGTON (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Vaal, beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Worth noting S'manga Khumalo goes aboard. Better than recent efforts suggest.
