BASIE RAAKVAT (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m3 1/2f at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. IRON MONGER (4) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten a neck into third over 1m3/4f at Scottsville. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. POWER STAR (8) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Scottsville over 1m3/4f. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Likely improver with strong prospects. TORIX NIGHT (6) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m3/4f at Scottsville. No surprise if he figured in the finish.
