GIMMETHEGOODLIFE (1) finished second at Vaal two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Vaal, finishing 5 lengths back in seventh after being in the firing line on the corner. Serino Moodley gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MAGIC SURPRISE (2) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 3 lengths as favourite last time out over 6f at this track. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is one of the key runners. THISI Set Weights HATITMEANS (4) resumes. After closing off last campaign with four consecutive wins, the latest over 7f at this track on July 13. Will drift back but wind up late. Should be competitive. GOOD TRAVELLER (8) scored last start at this track to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Has been in the top three at all six starts here, including three wins. Cannot be underestimated.
