PIERONIMO (2) SONDER (5) was below his best last time, finishing tenth and beaten 21 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Tamworth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ALASKA DE LUNE (6) proved too strong two runs ago at Ipswich. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 1m1 1/2f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 12 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. TURPIN'S TORMENT (10) is a 48-start maiden struggling to break through but has been in the money at the last couple of outings, the latest when third over 1m1/2f at this track. Well placed to run a big race.
