QUIETNESS (7) battled on well to hold second last start over 1m2 1/2f in the LR Tattersall's Gold Crown at Eagle Farm, beaten one length. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BEAR ON THE LOOSE (5) is racing well without winning, including last start when second over 1m4f in the LR Caloundra City Cup at Sunshine Coast. In-form five-year-old gelding so another big run is likely. ZOOLOGY (8) showed good pace and went on to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1m2f at Doomben. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. NIKAU SPUR (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 10 lengths away in ninth over 1m4f at Sunshine Coast. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
