CARACORON (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 2.25 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SHINE LIKE IT DOES (7) accounted for a maiden field over 7f27yards at Moruya last start, finishing 1.3 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Jack Baker was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
