SEYMOUR STARS (15) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 5f at this track six months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Grafton trial win. Likely improver who should run well again. RISK ASSESSMENT (11) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 6f76yards at Taree. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. COSMIC FORTUNE (8) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 5f at Ballina. All set to run well. MAWSONS EXPEDITION (2) resumed over 5f at Tuncurry last time out and showed good speed to lead throughout, scoring by a nose. Winning rider Noriyuki Masuda stays aboard. Must be respected.
