Looks ready for that breakthrough win. SUN TOPAZE (9) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 7f at Inverell, beaten only 0.6 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SMOKEHOUSE BROWN (3) finished third last time over 6½f at Armidale, beaten 4 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. JIVE TURKEY (1) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 7f at this track, finishing 11th and beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and should be in the mix.
