STREET SMARTS (6) was well in commission when resuming last start over 5½f at Murwillumbah when fourth, beaten 4 lengths. Expected to improve and gets her chance. MARLEEDOONE (7) was always well back last time out and never really threatened when ninth over 6f at Doomben. This is far easier. Best form puts her right in this. WATCHGUARD (5) finished 11 lengths adrift in sixth last time at Doomben after being in contention on the turn in a disappointing performance. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. THE ASTRONOMER (1) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5f190yards at this track. Expected to be in the finish.
