REEL CRYSTAL (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Bathurst over 1m2f. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SEPTIMUS (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 1m2f at Wyong, beaten 4 lengths. Keagan Latham gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. IT IS TO BE (3) has been mixing his form recently including last time out when he was well held over 1m4f at Randwick Kensington. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Has winning claims. DON'T TELL POLLY (5) was below her best last time when tenth over 1m2f at Randwick, beaten 19 lengths. Nicely placed to turn things around.
