SHYAMALAN (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4. 5 lengths away in ninth over 6f at Canberra. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. SIR FRANKLIN (1) resumed a week-and-a-half ago over 5f at Randwick and was only beaten 2 lengths into fourth. Has never missed the frame second up. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. HIGHWAY STRIP (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 6½f at Rosehill, beaten 9 lengths into sixth. Is unbeaten in two starts here on home soil. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. GHOST WALKER (2) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Wagga when he did his best work late, beaten a long neck. Has raced four times here and has never missed the frame. The engagement of Pierre Boudvillain is a positive move. Nicely placed to go one better.
