BRITISH NAVY (2) stepped out on his debut over 5f at Nowra two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. MARK OF GLORY (13) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished seventh over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle), beaten 11 lengths. Capable enough so worth another chance. CURADO (3) is racing well including a last start eighth over 7f at Warwick Farm. Among the chances again. CONICAL NET (11) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Randwick, beaten 6 lengths. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
