ABSTRUSE (2) finds it hard to win with two victories from 27 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5f at Wagga, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Has the class to take care of this field. SHELLY'S ACE (8) finished second at Canberra two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Canberra, finishing 5 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HELL OF A SHOW (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 19 when beaten 4 lengths into fifth at Nowra over 6f. Won't find this as tough so he is sure to be prominent.
