ETERNAL EMBER (5) backs up nine days after racing on the speed and finishing third over 5f at Sapphire Coast. Strong run last time and will be hard to beat. ABSTRUSE (2) finds it hard to win with two victories from 27 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5f at Wagga, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Has the class to take care of this field. SHELLY'S ACE (8) finished second at Canberra two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Canberra, finishing 5 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HELL OF A SHOW (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 19 when beaten 4 lengths into fifth at Nowra over 6f. Won't find this as tough so he is sure to be prominent.
