GOLDEN WARRIOR (2) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Echuca six months ago. Expected to go well. KING TAURUS (9) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. SCULPTOR (12) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 5½f at Nowra, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. I AM A WINNER (8) had a bit on his rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 2.75 lengths maiden win over 4½f at Newcastle. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
