TEXAN STAR (7) was 14 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at Sapphire Coast last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Has the addition of blinkers. Expected to prove tough to beat. SONIC SCENE (6) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing sixth over 6f at Canterbury. Looks well placed here and is a likely improver. MANWARI (3) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Warren, beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
