ASURIITO (1) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 5f at Wagga. Fitter and sure to run well. XSPIRITOUS (5) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at this track, beaten half a length. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MAYBE MAUREEN (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 10 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Albury. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
