PUERTO RICO (4) finished ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Nowra, beaten a neck after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. GETTY (7) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing fifth over 5f at Canberra. Worth another chance. ARTIEOS (5) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 4½f at Queanbeyan. Open to plenty of improvement and cannot be ruled out.
