SQUEEZEBOX (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Hawkesbury over 1m after being prominent from the outset. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VIEWPOINT (1) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3. 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6½f at Rosehill two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Well placed so expecting a strong run. KIRKUK (7) was never in contention when 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7¾f at Randwick Kensington last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Hawkesbury the run before. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. JUST SHANE (6) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished second, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over 1m2f at Kembla Grange. Has a win and two minor placings at this trip from five starts so he must be included.
