ZALE (3) was thereabouts two starts ago before a disappointing eighth most recently over 6f at Wyong. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. STARINION (10) proved too strong two runs ago at Kembla Grange. Safely held last time out when ninth over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 9 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. PUERTO BANUS (2) was beaten 2 lengths into fourth over 6f at Wyong last time out. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
