ROSE'S LEGACY (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Kembla Grange, beaten 15 lengths into 13th after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. CALL ME BASIL (1) bounced back last start and got the job done by 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner over 7½f at Port Macquarie. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. ALABAMA BLITZ (2) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. GREY SECRET (6) scored last start at Moruya to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Will find this a little tougher but can figure in the finish.
