CALL ME SASSY (4) comes here off a win last time out, scoring by a head over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Tough to beat again. OAKFIELD SATURN (2) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 6¼f at Newcastle. Likely improver with strong prospects. EAGLES BEWARE (3) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 8 lengths, over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Better than the last run and is among the chances. MATCHSTICKS (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6f at Canberra, scoring by 1. 75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Andrew Calder was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
