LADY ZODIAC (8) returns from a lay-off of five months and did score when resuming when last in work at Hawkesbury over 5f. Lines up for the first time for the John O'Shea & Tom Charlton stable. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Randwick trial. Leading hope and should be tough to stop. MOTOSCAFO (10) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer John P Thompson. Finished sixth at Randwick Kensington over 6½f at the opening run last time in work. Ran seventh in a trial at Randwick over 5¼f recently. Worth plenty of thought on an each-way basis. BREMEL (3) scored last start at Kembla Grange to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
