MAASAI MARA (5) left behind five disappointing efforts when losing out narrowly by a neck to finish runner-up in a handicap at Brighton a fortnight ago. May go one better. CRUDEN (4) was racing consistently with four placed efforts in five attempts however failed to keep form going when fifth at Salisbury. Might bounce back.
