Beat a good yardstick tackling this trip at Kempton before finishing second on soft ground at Salisbury in October and could prove better than this opening mark after being gelded. STARLORE (2) finished fourth behind the subsequent German 2000 Guineas fourth attempting a conditions event at Newmarket. Cannot be ruled out now handicapping.
