MAJOR TOM (7) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 0.3 lengths over 6f at this track (Synthetic). Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. TRINIDAD (2) ran a strong third over 6f at this track (Synthetic) two runs back then was below his best last time over 6½f when seventh, beaten 14 lengths. Kept fresh since that last run so is expected to be in the finish. IDAHO ONCE (4) is back from a break of 11 months. Put together back-to-back wins before going for a lay-off, the most recent at this track (Synthetic) over 5½f. Has a fine record here with two wins from five starts. Should be involved in the finish. DANZING REBEL (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5½f at this track (Synthetic), scoring by 2.25 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Kevin E Orozco was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
