BLITZBURG (3) showed good pace over 7f at this track last time and dug deep to score by 1. 5 lengths. Has the ability to play a significant role. LIVING FREE (1) hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Rockhampton over 6½f five-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Gold Coast. Well placed and is among the main chances. OCEAN ALPS (6) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race when she did her best work late and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at this track. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player. LUTON HOO (5) is having her first run since winning by a nose four weeks ago over 6½f at Toowoomba. Has transferred to the David Peoples stable over the break. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
