CARDONETTE (6) is back after a break of five months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 5½f at Ipswich. Looks forward enough following an impressive trial win recently. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. TEXAS (12) hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Hawkesbury over 5f six-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Doomben. Best figures read very well. HELLO PUNTERS (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish second over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Will be close to the pace despite the draw. Expected to give a bold sight. Set Weights ITCH THE STARS (17) has not raced since his debut on October 1 over 5f at Eagle Farm when he finished fifth, beaten 7 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
