QICKWIT (5) booted up from a low draw to lead last start and went on to score by a nose at Gatton over 5½f. Will prove very tough to beat. BONNIE AMORE (3) went back early from her wide draw over 5f at Murwillumbah last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. One to watch for in the closing stages. SIGNATURE TART (2) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Has filled a minor placing at both when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a second over 5f at Gold Coast. One of the better prospects. VEGA NOVA (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Warwick, beaten 3 lengths into fifth. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
