ICYMISS (12) settled in the leading division on debut last start but wilted close to home and finished fourth, beaten 2. 75 lengths, over 6f at Ipswich. Sure to improve and can get off the mark this time. FLORAL LEGEND (16) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2 lengths back in sixth over 6f at Murwillumbah. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. BAY OF THE SOUTH (7) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Lismore over 5f130yards. Meets a tougher line-up this time but shapes as one to consider. ANCIENT SCENT (6) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish third, beaten 1. 2 lengths, at Eagle Farm over 6f. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Don't underestimate.
