Has a high cruising speed. Shapes as one of the top chances. FRENCH RIVIERA (17) turned in a strong run two starts ago at Ipswich then failed to back it up over 7f at Gatton last time, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so should be involved in the finish. SOWILO RODINA (21) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of four-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly. Ran fifth in a recent trial at Gold Coast. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
