Race Tip

MARATHIA (8) finished eighth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 4f at Warwick, beaten only 1.2 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. BEACHSIDE BABE (5) showed early speed from a good draw last time and battled on to finish fifth, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 5½f at this track. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. SONIC ARROW (10) finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 4f at Ipswich when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Commendable record at this trip with a win and 10 minor placings and has to be included. VELOCE METEOR (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 30/04/2025, finishing tenth and beaten 8 lengths over 6f43yards at Ipswich. One to consider.
