BOULEVARD BOY (1) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish fourth over 6½f at Gold Coast at the first run back from a lay-off. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. CIRCUS MAXIMUS (2) changes rider since being well held last time in seventh over 1m3f at Gold Coast on July 5. Can bounce back. NOTABADLARTE (4) made his debut last start and was just fair in finishing sixth at Gold Coast over 6½f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Capable of much more this time. SOUTHERN DRAW (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Ipswich, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
