HIDDEN MELODY (3) held on well to finish second last time out over 5f at this track after leading for much of the way. Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. EAGLE'S FIRE (7) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Warwick. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. BEACHSIDE BABE (8) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5f at Sunshine Coast last start after being prominent at the bend, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Gold Coast Poly the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. I AM VOODOO (1) was safely held when ninth last time out over 5f at this track, beaten 11 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Should be thereabouts.
