SHAPIN POWER (8) fought on well for second last start over 6½f at Gold Coast, making it two minor placings in a row. Expected to run well again. THROWIN SHADE (4) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 5½f at Beaudesert. Better than the last run and is a top-three hope.
