READY FOR ANYTHING (5) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish sixth over 6f at Doomben. Sure to prove tough to hold out. RED DEFCON (6) built on a nice second two starts back at Ipswich with a win over 6¾f at Doomben three weeks ago, getting home by a head. Taking on a better field but she is capable of running another bold race. KALUMBURU (13) returned from a break last start over 6f and finished second at Eagle Farm. May appreciate the longer journey now coming in with a good weight and looks a definite each-way hope. CORFE CASTLE (2) produced a reasonable effort when fourth last start over 6¾f at Doomben. That followed a win at Doomben the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
