SUSPECT (13) did little and finished 22 lengths from the winner in 16th over 6¾f at Doomben last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Eagle Farm the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. PUNGO (3) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish second over 6f at this track. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. SOBUTE (6) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 7f at Sunshine Coast. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from six runs. Expect a bold showing. UNDER THE PALAIS (14) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at Beaudesert. Can play a role in the finish.
