MIST OF DAWN (8) launched her career with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 5½f at Ipswich, beaten 2.2.5 lengths after she did her best work late. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a major player. ROSE NOIR (9) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6¾f at Ipswich last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Doomben the run before. Won't find this as tough so she is likely to play a big role. MEAN APPROACH (2) was well in commission last start over 6f at Murwillumbah when fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will find this a little tougher but is capable of featuring. SUNLORD (3) lines up for the first time since March 16. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Lines up. For the first time for trainer tony gollan. One to consider.
