Form over this course and distance is solid with a win and two minor placings from four starts. Leading contender. MISS SHU (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f152yards at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MAN OF HEART (2) was last at the races when he finished fifth over 1m4 1/4f at Beaudesert on April 25. Looks a strong top-three prospect. BETTER STRINGS (10) produced another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6¾f at Doomben. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
