TUQIRI (6) returned last time with a solid third at Beaudesert over 6½f when he made late ground. Ready to go a couple better. BOOM CRUSHER (3) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 7f at Dalby then fought on gamely to finish third. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. HELLUVA SOIREE (11) did her best work late and finished third last time over 7f at Gatton, beaten 3 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running a bold race. GYPSY WHITE SOCKS (9) is a 11-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 6 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Kilcoy. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
