SKATER (2) switches to synthetic for the first time. Went around as public elect last start and she duly saluted by a neck over 1m on turf at Toowoomba. Going very well and can win again. BIE'RES (5) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish a neck away in second over 1m at Toowoomba. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. FAT FINGERS (7) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Hard to beat in this suitable race. METAL ROCK (1) ran below expectations last time at Gatton over 7f, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
