ARDONAUGH (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Tamworth. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 15th over 6f at Randwick, beaten 14 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Has the talent to take care of this field. LITTLE SHOW (5) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when eighth in a 6¾f contest at Warwick two-and-a-half weeks ago. Worth noting Zoe Hunt goes aboard. Likely improver with strong prospects. TOO MUCH MAKEUP (7) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in eighth over 5½f at Warwick. Will give backers a sight. STOCK THE ROSE (1) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Has filled a minor placing at each of his three when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a third over 6f at Tamworth. One of the better prospects.
