Has a decent record at this trip with five minor placings from six tries and shapes as a key contender. CHERRY BAY (5) again failed to feature last start, finishing eighth and beaten 2.75 lengths over 6f at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Among the leading chances. PROFOUND BENEFIT (2) is back at the races for the first time since March 19. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6¼f at Canterbury. Now under the care of new trainer Adam Durrant. Definite top-three chance. KLEVA CONNED (7) ran a better race last start, finishing 1.4 lengths away in fifth over 6½f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
